08h00 Our guide & driver will pick up at your hotel in Saigon & transfer to the Mekong Delta. Upon reaching the Rach Ram River, we’ll board a motorized boat to cruise along the Mekong River’s branches, passing through local villages and tiny river islands. The 2-hour cruise will lead us to Cai Be, where a stop for lunch awaits in a beautiful orchard on the island. At the orchard, the host will graciously serve you “longan spirit,” a local beverage he has crafted himself. Alongside, indulge in deep-fried elephant ear fish, spring rolls, and other local delicacies that are sure to make you feel content and ready for a siesta. There won’t be any biking today; instead, a sampan boat in a small canal will offer a relaxing experience under the warm sun. Continue cruising to Cai Be town, passing a small floating market. It’s fascinating to observe locals at work in their workshops producing items like rice paper, pop rice, coconut toffee, and more.
