Four Seasons Seoul stands in Gwanghwamun, which is the most useful address in the city for a first visit: Gyeongbokgung Palace and the National Palace Museum are a few minutes on foot, the Bukchon hanok streets and Insadong are just beyond, and the subway runs from the door.
The hotel itself is a modern tower with a large spa, a pool and several restaurants – including a Korean kitchen worth eating in at least once. It is the standard base for two or three nights in Seoul before or after travel elsewhere in Korea.
