Discover the spectacular scenery and rich culture of Northern Laos on this adventure-filled journey of trekking and kayaking. Starting in the ancient city of Luang Prabang, you will head north to the tranquil town of Nong Khiaw. You will trek along the beautiful Nam Ou River as you marvel at the beautiful limestone outcrops and landscapes. You will visit isolated villages where you will consider how the locals live. You will trek in the Nam Ha National Protected Area, home of the hill tribes who inhabit the mountains of Laos, where you will learn about their ways of life and traditions. The trip finishes with a blissful cruise along the Mekong River, to learn about lives on the river and observe local living.
