Your journey into the wilderness begins with an exhilarating boat ride up the Tembeling River. Don’t worry, you’ll experience five main rapids along the way – expect to get wet! In the evening, you’ll meet in the afternoon for a respectful visit to an Orang Asli settlement – providing unique and authentic insight about this ancient culture, and their connection to the forest.

As night falls, the jungle takes on a different personality. After dinner at the resort, your knowledgeable guide will escort you during an exciting night walk. Armed with a torch, you’ll enter the nocturnal world of the forest while listening to the symphony of insects and cicadas. After the night walk, you will visit the Tahan wildlife observation hide and see if you can engage any wildlife – most animals (the sly ones) come out after dark. If you haven’t quite had enough, the next morning is dedicated to exploring the forest from a different perspective. You will go on a rewarding jungle trek to the top of Teresek Hill, and you’ll be rewarded with incredible panoramic views across the emerald canopy.
