Discover Northern Thailand: E-Bike Adventure from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai

In the morning, we’ll ride through fields and backroads. We’ll visit Akha Mino Roastery, a local coffee place, where we’ll learn how they make coffee and try it. We’ll also have lunch there. After lunch, we’ll ride to the White Temple, Wat Rong Khun, which looks like it’s made of ice. It’s a special Thai building you’ll like. Then, we’ll take the van back to our hotel. You can relax for the rest of the day at the resort.

In the morning, we’ll take a short van ride to Bha Tai Pier. Then, we’ll hop on a longtail boat and cruise up the Kok river to Tha Ton district. It’s a good time to relax and enjoy the views while your guide tells you about the area. Once we arrive, we’ll grab our bikes and ride through Thailand’s countryside, passing through local villages and green fields. After lunch, we’ll drive to Chiang Dao, a mountain town. In the evening, we’ll have a tasty dinner with fresh local food and maybe a cold beer.

Today, we’re heading to the mountains of Northern Thailand! First, we’ll take a short ride to the Araksa Tea Plantations for a cup of their best tea. Then, we’ll explore the Mae Taeng district on our bikes. There will be some hills, but our e-bikes will help us out. If you need a break, our van is there for support. Finally, we’ll take a short ride to our destination.

Let’s ride our bikes to Chiang Mai! Today’s route is mostly downhill, and then it’s easy riding along flat roads by the Ping River. When we get to Chiang Mai, we’ll check into our nice resort. In the afternoon, we’ll join a cooking class to learn how to make traditional northern Thai food. You’ll get to eat what you cook and learn how to make tasty Thai dishes to share with your family and friends later.

Today, we’ll explore around Chiang Mai on bikes, biking through the countryside and past temples to a botanical garden. After touring the garden, we’ll head back to the hotel along pretty roads. You can relax by the pool or get a Thai massage before our evening plan. Tonight is our last night, so we’ll go on a food tour of the city. We’ll try local dishes like curry, papaya salad, pad thai, and mango sticky rice. Get ready for tasty food and meeting friendly locals!

On our final day, have a good breakfast before we start cycling up to Doi Suthep from your hotel. This mountain is to the west of the city. We’ll go up quickly, following the main road and stopping along the way to enjoy the view. Our cycling ends at the main temple, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. This temple has beautiful views over the city and countryside. We’ll take some time to enjoy it before heading back to the vans with a cup of mountain-grown coffee.
